The sorting center in Budapest has been designed to sort and distribute 2.5 million letters, 800,000 flats and 80,000 parcels per day. Most of the processes, from the arrival of the mail to its dispatch have been automated as far as possible. Four integrated reading and video coding systems (IRV) and four fine sorting machines (FSM) are used for sorting standard letters.
